Beginner’s Mind is a six-week series created specifically for those who have little to no experience with yoga, but are keen to learn in a safe, non-judgemental environment. You will learn about the different styles of yoga, fundamental yoga poses and terminology, the health benefits of a yoga/meditation practice, and a little bit about the history of yoga. After this six-week series, you will feel comfortable attending an All-Levels community class.
If you would like to give yoga a try, but are nervous about getting started, this is a relaxed and fun introduction.
Requirements: Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.

Using Props to Enhance Any Practice
Saturday, September 18, 2021
11 - 12:15 PM
Cost: $16/$10 for members
Deep Dive is a monthly workshop that will be offered the 3rd Saturday of every month, starting in September.
Each month we’ll choose a topic — a specific yoga posture, a breathing or meditation technique, a concept from yoga philosophy or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) — and put a magnifying glass on the subject, as it pertains to our yoga practice.
Our inaugural topic, “Using Props to Enhance Any Practice” will be taught by Balance Yoga owner and teacher, Katera Zappacosta.
